The Neverhood - The Weasel Chase

This animation is made by clay.This is an interesting animation because it has background, characters, objects and also storyline.This will help me to come up with ideas and how my own background will look like.The characters looks simple with details.The animator uses different kinds of camera view.The animator had to move the camera or maybe he used more than one camera. For my animation i will be using one camera but i will try to use two to see how i do and what i will have to do to improve it.

Will Vinton's Claymation Comedy Of Horrors

This is a animation by Will Vinton. I really find this shot interesting because one character is pulling another characters tongue like a rope and the tongue becomes longer and longer every time he pulls he's tongue.

The trapdoor 

I have watched clay motion 'The Trapdoor' this animation is very interesting because it uses body parts.The body parts moves by itself.For my animation i can make the eye coming out and rolls then the head tries to get the eye back.

Blood head

Marc Quinn (born 8 January 1964) is a British artist and one of a loose group known as the Young British Artists.Quinn inspired me with he's work blood head ,a sculpture of his head made with his own frozen blood.By getting inspired of he's work this will help to come with ideas and also how my character face will look.

Synopsis 

The Animation is about a Head which will be created by clay and it will be done in details.The story is about a Head.There will be two other characters who will play football with the head.The head gets very angry and bits the two characters legs.Then suddenly the head finds a dead body on the floor with no head,the dead body will come alive and it will hold the head and walks off.

This is a surreal animation and it's very simple because only the body parts gets together .The story is simple but it has meanings.This animation shows that you can do anything with clay and still it will be interesting.By watching this animation I have learnt how clay works and what you can do with it.The main character in my animation will be the Head from this animation i have got an idea how the head will look like.

Agony and Ecstasy test 

I have used two Armatures and two clay motion characters  to try out how my animation will look like. I decided to use different kind of characters because this will give me feedback and see if people likes it or not and also to make it interesting.

Here is a shot that i have taken to show the armature kicking the head.The background should be white but there is table.In my final animation the background will be full white by watching this shot i have learnt that i should check through the camera lots of times.I have only used one camera view.In my final one maybe i can use two cameras to get different kinds of view and expressions.On the top there are so much space are not used.

I have made this shot better by taking it to photoshop. I have batched the images so it looks more clean and clear.

I think my first test animation is good because the speed of the animation is better and the animation is funny this will make people laugh.The clay characters are not done in details this won't tell how the characters are like.The armatures are little bit hard to animate but i think i did okay. Next time i need to animate the armatures perfectly because i couldn't animate the leg.This animation is too short,i need to take more pictures and zoom into the head more because thats the main character and also i need to show the reaction of the head.

2nd test Animation

This is my 2nd animation that i made.This animation is longer and more interesting because as you can see the characters have more details and when the Armature kicks he's leg and falls on the floor that part looks realistic because i have used wires. Animating this animation was hard because i had to do it alone. I had to move the characters and also use the camera at the  same time that's why in some pictures you can see my fingers.

This animation is much better because i have taken out the wires and also the fingers in Photoshop.Then i have made some key pauses on premiere.To make this better i need to spend more time and plan my ideas.
